A George V Sterling silver toast rack ( Sold)

An Antique Sterling silver toast rack which is circular in shape and rests on a silver tripod stand. This four sectioned silver toast rack has a silver burner to keep the toast warm and a wooden handle at the top so that it can be carried with ease. It is unusual to find a toast rack of this style and it would look very appealing when used on the breakfast table. The silver burner.which is also made for Aspreys. was hallmarked in London for 1912 and the circular plate above the burner is made of metal to protect the toast rack from the burner flame.
