Description

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver comport/dish which is oval shape in design with pierced detailing to the dish, a wavy edged border with leaf patterned decoration and resting on a flat base. The elaborate silver stand is circular in shape with lion mask motifs around the edges, attractive garlands of bows, flowers and leaves around the body and resting on four long legs with claw feet. The silver dish rests comfortably on the stand and completes the overall design. It would make a wonderful table feature and would be practical to use. It weighs 26.3 troy ounces (819 grams).
