Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver and glass lemonade jug which has a plain silver mount, a hinged silver lid with a pierced thumb piece and a plain shaped handle which is comfortable to hold. The tall tapered glass body is particularly appealing with a combination of hobnail cutting and patterned decoration and it rests on a flat star cut base. There is a plain cylindrical glass container which has been designed to hold the ice and fits neatly within the body of the jug. This ice container has a plain silver mount and lid with a simple knob finial on the top. This jug would be perfect for serving Pimms as well as lemonade and would look eye catching on the table.
