An Antique Victorian Sterling silver gallery tray (Sold)

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver gallery tray which is oval shape in design and resting on four shell feet. This superb silver tray has attractive engraving on the main body depicting flowers. leaves and swirls and there is an impressive stag crest in the centre. The engraving is sharp and detailed and shows no sign of wear. The silver gallery is pierced with urn motifs and the wavy edged top has a gadroon border. There are two inset handles which makes this tray easy to hold and carry. It has been made to a high standard and would look impressive on the table. The length of the tray is 52.2 cms and the width is 41.5 cms.
