Description

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver and glass claret jug which has a tall etched glass body decorated with garlands of flowers, leaves and bows together with some spiral fluted detailing to complete the design. This urn shaped claret jug has a plain silver mount with a good pouring spout and a hinged lid with an interesting thumb piece. The elegant handle has been neatly attached to the plain silver base and the quality and condition of this claret jug is excellent. It is both decorative and practical and would hold a full bottle of wine.
