Description

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver and glass biscuit barrel which has a plain round shaped glass body with a star cut base, a plain silver mount and a circular lid. The silver handle is a special feature of this biscuit barrel as it has been designed to open the lid when gently pressed to the side. The mechanism which facilitates this action is still in perfect working order and it is unusual to find this feature on such a large object. It would look stylish when displayed on the table, would be practical to use and would look appealing when filled with chocolates as well as biscuits. The barrel stands at 21.00 cms high from the base to the top of the handle.

Complimentary postage is offered within the price of this silver and glass biscuit barrel.
