Description

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver and glass biscuit barrel which has a round “barrel” shaped glass body with a star cut base,  a plain silver mount and a circular silver lid.  The silver handle is a special feature of this biscuit barrel as it has been designed to open the lid when it is gently pressed to the side.  The mechanism that facilitates this action is still in excellent working order and it is unusual to find this feature on such a large object.  It would look stylish when displayed on the table and would be practical to use.  It also looks great filled with chocolates as well as biscuits.

Complimentary Worldwide shipping is included within the price of this silver and glass biscuit barrel.
