An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver Argyll, designed for serving gravy, which has a plain straight sided body, a hinged lid with a simple finial, a good pouring spout and a wicker handle which is still in excellent condition. There is some bead detailing at the top and bottom of the body and a hinged lidded compartment at the side for adding the hot water in order to keep the gravy hot. This silver Argyll has been made to the highest standard and would be perfect to use on the table as it works perfectly well.
