Antique Edwardian Sterling silver menu holders (Sold)

A set of four Antique Edwardian Sterling silver menu or place card holders which have been styled in the form of characters from Alice in Wonderland. This silver set comprises Alice. the Mad Hatter. the Cheshire cat and the white Rabbit and they all fit neatly in the original box. Each character sits on a loaded circular base and there is a section at the rear for supporting the card. The expressions of the characters have been captured well and this set would make a useful addition to a collection.
