Description

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver money box which has been designed in the form of a barrel with lined detailing to the mainly plain body, a hinged lid with a clasp to keep it closed and resting on a flat base. There is a slot at the top of the lid to add the money and the interior has been nicely lined to deaden the sound of dropping coins. This novelty money box would make an ideal addition to a collection and a perfect gift. These boxes are not easy to find and this particular example remains in excellent condition. It stands at 9.8 cms (3.9″) tall.
