An unusual Antique Edwardian Sterling silver Sovereign case which has a plain rectangular body and has been designed to hold Sovereigns and half Sovereigns. There is a push button to open the lid which reveals the spring mechanisms to house the coins. There is also a clip attachment to the inside of the lid to hold stamps which makes this Sovereign case more desirable. It remains in excellent condition and weighs 60 grams.
