Description

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver three piece tea set which consists of a teapot, sugar basin and cream jug.  The teapot is oval shape in design with part spiral fluted decoration to the body, gadroon decoration around the top rim, a hinged lid with similar spiral fluted detailing and resting on four ball feet.  The cream jug and sugar basin each have the same oval shaped bodies with part spiral fluted detailing, pretty handles with leaf capped decoration, nicely gilded interiors and resting on four ball feet. This silver tea set has been made to the highest standard, as one would expect from Elkington, would look splendid when displayed on the table and would be perfect to use. The total weight is 40 troy ounces (1245 grams).
