Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Tobacco Box

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver tobacco box which has a large plain oval shaped body and a tight fitting hinged lid. The box can be opened by squeezing the sides of the body and it has been designed to keep the contents airtight. The interior has also been nicely gilded. This is a fine example and would make a useful addition to a collection. It weighs 3.8 troy ounces (119 grams) and remains in excellent condition.
