Antique Edwardian Sterling silver tray(sold)

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver tray which is rectangular in shape with a large plain body, an attractive gadroon and shell border, two side handles with the same gadroon and shell detailing and resting on a flat base. This extremely heavy tray has been made to the highest standard, as one would expect from Elkington, and has been well cared for over the years. It would be perfect to hold a large silver tea and coffee set or a selection of decanters and glasses. It measures 73.60 cms. from handle to handle and weighs 145.40 troy ounces (4523 grams).
