Antique George II Newcastle silver mug (Sold)

An Antique George II Sterling silver half pint mug which has been assayed in Newcastle and made by Isaac Cookson. This plain silver mug has a baluster shaped body. a leaf capped handle and resting on a slightly raised foot. This silver mug would make a useful addition to a Newcastle silver collection and would be perfect to use. There are initials on the side of the handle and the hallmarks are clear and legible.
