Antique George II Sterling silver tankard (Sold)

An Antique George II Sterling silver tankard which has a straight plain body. hinged domed lid with appealing thumb piece. well proportioned handle with a heart shaped terminal and resting on a slightly raised foot. This silver tankard has been well cared for over the years and is still in very good condition. The date letter on the body is slightly rubbed but the marks inside the lid are still very clear. This tankard would be perfect to use and would make a useful addition to a collection.
