Antique George III Sterling silver butter shells
Hallmarked in London for 1795 by Henry Chawner.
A pair of Antique George III Sterling silver butter shells which are scallop shape in design with fluted bodies. plain shaped handles and resting on three whelk style feet. These silver shells have been made to a high standard and have been well cared for over the years. There is a crest at the end of each shell and the hallmarks are clear and legible.
