Antique George III Sterling Silver Quart Tankard – 1763

An Antique George III Sterling silver quart sized tankard which has a plain baluster shaped body with applied girdle, a dome shaped hinged lid with a “chair back” thumb piece, a scroll handle with a heart terminal and resting on a circular foot. This fine silver tankard has been well cared for over the years and remains in excellent condition. It weighs 28.5 troy ounces (887 grams).
