An Antique George III Sterling silver quart sized tankard which has a plain baluster shaped body with applied girdle, a domed shaped hinged lid with a “chair back” thumb piece, a scroll handle with a heart shape terminal and resting on a circular foot. This fine silver tankard has been well cared for over the years and remains in excellent condition. It would hold two pints of beer and weighs 28.5 troy ounces (887 grams).
