An Antique George III Sterling silver tankard which has a plain baluster shaped body with applied girdle, a domed shaped hinged lid with a “chair back” thumb piece, a scroll handle with a heart shaped terminal and resting on a circular foot. This fine silver tankard has been well cared for over the years and would make a useful addition to a collection. It weighs 28.5 troy ounces (887 grams).
