Antique George III Sterling Silver wine coasters(sold)

A fine pair of Antique George III Sterling silver wine coasters which are circular in shape with gadroon decoration around the top rims, fluted detailing to the bodies and each resting on a flat base.  These well made silver wine coasters retain the original wooden bases with silver bosses in the centre and remain in excellent condition.  They would grace any dining table and would be perfect to use.  They stand at 5.4 cms (2.1″) high and have a diameter of 14.5 cms (5.7″).
