Antique George III Sterling silver wine coasters (Sold)

A fine pair of Antique George III Sterling silver wine coasters which are circular in shape with plain bodies. reed edges and resting on flat bases. These silver coasters have unusual fastenings on the sides so that they can be locked together if desired. They have been well cared for over the years. the hallmarks are clear and legible and the wooden bases are still in excellent condition. There is a crest on one side of each coaster and these coasters would be perfect to use on the dining table.
