Antique George III Sterling silver wine funnel (Sold)

An Antique George III Sterling silver wine funnel which has a round shaped body with fluted decoration and a detachable cup with strainer. gadroon decoration around the edge and a shell clip on the side of the cup. There is also a removable silver ring to hold the muslin in position. This wine funnel has been made to a high standard and is still in excellent condition. There is a motto on one side of the body which reads:” Pax mentis honorable gloria”.
