Antique George IV Sterling silver wine coasters(sold)

A pair of Antique George IV Sterling silver wine coasters which are circular in shape with deep bodies with fluted decoration, wide top rims with gadroon and shell detailing and resting on flat bases. The wooden bases remain in excellent condition and they still retain the original silver bosses, which have been hallmarked on the reverse. These silver wine coasters would grace any dining table and would be perfect to use. They stand at 5 cms (2″0) high and have a top diameter of 15.5 cms (6.1″).
