Description

An Antique George V Sterling silver and glass claret jug which has a bulbous shaped body with nicely cut glass detailing and resting on a flat star cut base. It has a plain silver mount with a good pouring spout, a hinged lid with an attractive thumb piece and a plain curved shaped handle which is comfortable to hold. This fine silver claret jug would make an interesting gift and would be perfect to use. It remains in excellent condition and would hold a full bottle of wine. It stands at 22.7 cms (8.9″) high.
