Antique George V Sterling silver and glass preserve jar

An Antique George V Sterling silver and glass preserve jar which has a square shape tapered body with attractive star cutting to the glass body and resting on a plain flat base. The plain silver lid has a recess for a spoon and a ball shaped finial sitting on the top. This preserve jar would be perfect to use on the breakfast table. The maker’s mark is rubbed although it can still be dated.
