Antique George V Sterling silver and tortoiseshell glass jar(sold)

An Antique George V Sterling silver and tortoiseshell glass jar which is circular in shape with attractive cutting to the glass body and star cut detailing to the base. The removable tortoiseshell lid has attractive silver and pique work decoration depicting flowers and swirls which remains in excellent condition. This silver and tortoiseshell jar would make a useful addition to a collection and would make a suitable gift. The hallmarks are clear but the maker’s mark is indistinct. It stands at 7.2 cms (2.8″) high and has a diameter of 9.6 cms (3.8″).
