Antique George V Sterling silver biscuit box (Sold)

An Antique George V Sterling silver biscuit box which is oval shape in design with a plain body. hinged lid and resting on a flat base. There is a simple row of gadroon decoration around the base of the box and also the top of the lid. The lion mask side handles are a particularly interesting feature of this box and completes the overall style of this useful and decorative object.
