Description

A large Antique George V Sterling silver inkstand which is rectangular in shape with a plain body, an attractive pierced gallery with wavy edges and bead borders and resting on four elaborately decorated claw feet.  There are two sections to house the cut glass ink bottles and there is a recess in the front to hold the pen.  The cutting to the glass ink bottles is particularly fine and detailed and the decoration on the tops of the silver hinged lids is also very appealing.  This silver inkstand would be ideal to use on a desk or small table and is both practical and pleasing to the eye.  It weighs 38.5 troy ounces (1197 grams).

Complimentary postage is included within the price.
