An Antique George V Sterling silver muffin/caviar dish which has a plain round body with a lift off dome shaped lid and a simple finial on the top. The two stylish side handles are particularly interesting and the muffin dish rests on a flat base. There is a silver dish that rests on the body which can be removed to add either hot water or ice depending on the function. This muffin dish would look impressive when displayed and would be practical to use on the table. It can be adapted for a variety of purposes. It weighs 24.2 troy ounces (752 grams) and remains in excellent condition..
