An Antique Victorian Silver plated folding biscuit box which has a frame designed in a bark effect style with a handle to hold and resting on four legs.  It has an attractive polished shell style body which opens up to reveal two pierced  grills which fold by means of a hinge which then slot neatly in position.  The interior of this box has been nicely gilded and it would be perfect to use on the table as well as looking decorative to the eye.
