Antique Victorian Sterling silver and Boar tusk candlesticks (Sold)

An Antique pair of Sterling silver and Boar tusk candlesticks which have circular bases with gadroon edging and detachable nozzles with the same gadroon detailing. These highly decorative candlesticks have been designed using polished Boar tusks which have been stylishly detailed and mounted in silver to make them look even more decorative. There is a silver section at one end of each tusk possibly to hold matches and these candlesticks stand at 16 cms high and have a spread of 15 cms wide. They would be ideal to use on the table and would be practical as well as eye catching.
