Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver and glass claret jug which has a bulbous shaped body which tapers towards the top with attractive cut glass decoration and rests on a flat star cut base. It has a plain silver mount with a hinged lid, a good pouring spout and a stylish silver handle which is comfortable to hold. There is an initial “L” on the front of the mount and this jug will hold a full bottle of wine. This claret jug would make a desirable addition to a collection and would be perfect to use. It is 25.40 cms tall.
