Description
A pair of Antique Victorian Sterling silver claret jugs which have plain ovoid shaped glass bodies which rest on flat bases. These jugs have plain and simple silver mounts. hinged lids and handles which are comfortable to hold and are tight fitting to the glass bodies. It is unusual to have two claret jugs of different sizes which share the same date and maker. These claret jugs would look appealing on the dining table and would be practical to use. The larger of the two jugs is 23.8 cms high and holds 950 ml of liquid and the smaller jug is 19.3 cms high and holds 400 ml of liquid.
