Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver and glass lemonade jug which has a plain silver mount, a hinged lid with a pierced thumb piece and a plain shaped handle which is comfortable to hold. The tall tapering shaped glass body is particularly appealing with a combination of hobnail cutting and patterned decoration and it rests on a flat star cut base. There is a plain cylindrical glass container which has been designed to hold the ice and fits neatly within the body of the jug. This glass ice container has a plain silver mount and silver lid with a simple knob finial on the top. The jug would be perfect for serving Pimms as well as lemonade and would look eye catching when displayed on the table.
