Hallmarked in London for 1867 by George Adams.

Sterling Silver.

A fine pair of Antique Victorian Sterling silver asparagus/serving tongs which have been made in the fiddle pattern style with a long plain handle, attractive pierced tongs to clasp the food and a spring mechanism which still works perfectly well. This silver asparagus/serving tongs remains in excellent condition and would be ideal for serving a variety of vegetables besides asparagus.
