Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Asparagus Tongs – 1881

A fine pair of Antique Victorian Sterling silver asparagus/serving tongs which are plain with well balanced handles, pierced blades which are perfect for holding food and a good spring action which is still in excellent working order. These silver tongs would be ideal for serving a variety of food besides asparagus and would sit well with other George Adams serving pieces. There is a stag crest at the end of the handle which remains part of the history of these silver tongs. They weigh 6.1 troy ounces (190 grams).
