Antique Victorian Sterling silver asparagus tongs

Hallmarked in London for 1881 by George Adams.

Sterling Silver.

A pair of Antique Victorian Sterling silver asparagus tongs which are plain with long well balanced handles, pierced blades perfect for holding the food and a good spring action that is still working extremely well. These silver tongs would be ideal for serving a variety of food besides asparagus and would sit well with other George Adams items in a collection. There is a crest of a stag at the end of the handle.
