Antique Victorian Sterling silver bowl

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver bowl which is circular in shape with a deep body, gadroon decoration around the top rim, a wonderful frieze depicting leopards’s heads, bows, urns and swags and resting on a round pedestal foot with leaf decoration.  The lower part of the body is designed with leaf decoration and the two side handles are designed with leopards’ heads and ring attachments.  This silver bowl has been made to the highest standard both in quality and design and would make a unique table feature. On the base of the bowl it states “Elkington & Co Ltd. Silversmiths to the Queen”.
