Antique Victorian Sterling silver cheese scoop (Sold)

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver cheese scoop which has been made in the fiddle and thread design with a long well balanced handle and a plain curved end to scoop up the cheese. This silver cheese scoop has a pusher section on top of the body to release the cheese when pressed which makes it more unusual and desirable. The condition is excellent and both sections are fully hallmarked. This silver scoop would be perfect to use and would make a useful addition to a fiddle and thread canteen. It measure 23.5 cms in length.
