Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver combination Sovereign/stamp case which is rectangular shape in design with an elaborately decorated body depicting swirls and leaves, a vacant cartouche on the front and a ring attachment at the top so that it could be worn if so desired. There is a push button at the side of the body to open the case which reveals spring mechanisms to house full Sovereigns, half Sovereigns and stamps. It also comes complete with a pencil which slots neatly down the side of the case. This combination Sovereign/stamp case would make a desirable addition to a collection and would make an acceptable gift. It weighs 3.2 troy ounces (99 grams).
