Antique Victorian Sterling silver combination whistle and vesta case (Sold)

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver combination whistle and vesta case which is unusual in design as one might expect from items made by Sampson Mordan. The body has been nicely engraved and is still in excellent condition. The hinged lid of the vesta case is still in excellent working order. the striking mechanism is intact and the whistle blows extremely well. This item would make a useful addition to a collection.
