An Antique Victorian Sterling silver cutlery set which has been designed in the Fiddle pattern style for twelve persons and has 87 pieces in total. This plain silver set has been made to an extremely high standard, as one would expect from George Adams. and consists of:
12 x table knives measuring 24.60 cms in length
12 x dessert knives measuring 22.20 cms in length
12 x table forks measuring 20.50 cms in length
12 x dessert forks measuring 17.00 cms in length
12 x table spoons measuring 22.00 cms in length
12 x dessert spoons measuring 18.00 cms in length
12 x teaspoons measuring 14.50 cms in length
2 x sauce ladles measuring 18.00 cms in length
1 x basting spoon measuring 31.00 cms in length
This set would look wonderful on the dining table and would be a pleasure to use. The new silver handled knives blend in perfectly with the rest of the silver cutlery and this set weighs 107.50 troy ounces in total excluding the knives. The dates of the silver pieces range from 1843-1879 and there are attractive blue cloth wraps to keep the cutlery neat and tidy.
