An Antique Victorian Sterling silver cutlery set which has been designed in the fiddle pattern style for six persons :

6  x  table knives measuring : 24.70 cms.

6  x  dessert knives measuring : 22.20 cms.

6  x  table forks measuring : 20.10 cms.

6  x  dessert forks measuring : 17.70 cms.

6  x  table/soup spoons measuring : 21.70 cms.

6  x  dessert spoons measuring : 18.20 cms.

6  x  teaspoons measuring : 14.10 cms.

2  x  sauce ladles measuring : 18.20 cms.


This set is in excellent condition and was made by George Adams and ranges in dates between 1852-1872. It has been well cared for over the years and would be practical to use on the table.  The new silver handled knives with stainless steel blades are a perfect match for this fiddle pattern set and compliment the rest of the silver pieces very well.  There are also some useful cloth wraps to help keep this set clean and tidy.  The silver forks and spoons weigh 57.70 troy ounces ( 1795 grams) excluding the silver handles knives and there are 44 pieces in total.
