Description
An Antique Victorian Sterling silver kettle on stand which has a tall octagonal shaped body with attractive swirl and leaf detailing and a domed shaped hinged lid with a pretty finial. The kettle sits comfortably on an elegant stand with three elaborate legs with shell decoration and is held in position by means of silver pins. There is a section in the centre of the stand to house the burner. This silver kettle is hallmarked for 1856 by John Hunt for Hunt and Roskell, late Storr and Mortimer and has been made to a high standard as one would expect from this company. There is a crest on the front of the body and this kettle would look impressive when displayed on the table.
