An Antique Victorian Sterling silver meat platter/serving dish which is oval shape in design with a plain body, gadroon decoration around the borders and resting on a flat base. This silver meat platter has been made to a high standard, as one would expect from Garrards, and has been well cared for over the years. There are some slight knife marks on the body, which are normal and in keeping with natural use over time, and there is a crest on one side of the border which adds to the history of this silver meat platter. It would make an ideal addition to a collection and would be perfect to use on the table. It is 36.60 cms. long and weighs 43.00 troy ounces (1337 grams).
