Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver tea and coffee set which has slightly tapering straight sides and consists of a coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and sugar basin. The body of each piece has been nicely designed with attractive patterned detailing and each piece rests on a circular base with bead decoration around the edges. The interiors of the cream jug and sugar basin have been nicely gilded and there are stylish silver finials on top of the domed shaped hinged lids of the teapot and coffee pot. This silver tea set has been particularly well cared for over the years and remains in excellent condition. It would look impressive when displayed either on a table or silver tray and would be perfect to use. The total weight is 66.5 troy ounces (2,068 grams). The teapot will hold 1.1 litres of tea and the coffee pot will hold 1.5 litres of coffee.

This tea set has been registered with the Government’s website and conforms to the new rules concerning ivory. The registration number is : ZATTJR6J.
