Antique Victorian Sterling silver toast rack (Sold)

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver toast rack which is boat shape in design with a plain stand with gadroon edging. plain curved sections to house the toast and resting on four simple shaped feet. The design of this six section toast rack is practical as the crumbs from the toast can be collected neatly on the tray. The curved gallery to house the toast can be removed from the tray for cleaning purposes and are held in place by four silver nuts. There are pretty intertwined initials on one side of the body and this toast rack would be practical to use on the breakfast table.
