A pair of Antique William IV cast Sterling silver candlesticks which are tall with shaped rounded bases,  detailed columns and removable nozzles.  These fine silver candlesticks would make a statement when displayed on the dining table and would be perfect to use.  There are crests on each of the bases and nozzles and the Latin translation roughly means “By virtue, not by force”.  These impressive and heavy silver candlesticks have been well cared for over the years and remain in excellent condition.
