Description
An Antique William IV Sterling silver three piece tea set which consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar basin. The large plain teapot has a nicely shaped body, a hinged lid with a pretty flower finial on the top and resting on four decorative feet. The cream jug and sugar basin are also plain with the same shaped bodies and decorative feet and the interiors have been nicely gilded. This silver tea set would look impressive displayed on the table and would be perfect to use. It was made in London by the Barnard brothers and the cream jug and sugar basin are dated for 1836 and the teapot is dated for 1838. The teapot stands 16.30 cms high, the cream jug stands 12.00 cms high and the sugar basin stands 11.20 cms high.
