An Antique William IV Sterling silver three piece tea set which consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar basin. The large plain teapot has a lovely rounded shaped body with a silver handle, a hinged lid with a pretty flower finial and resting on four decorative feet. The cream jug and sugar basin are also plain with the same shaped bodies with silver handles and decorative feet in keeping with the design of the teapot and the interiors have been nicely gilded. This silver tea set would look impressive when displayed and would be perfect to use. The cream jug and sugar basin are dated for 1836 and the teapot is dated for 1838 by the Barnard Brothers. The teapot stands at 16.30 cms high, the length from the handle to the spout is 28.50 cms and the diameter of the top is 18.00 cms. The cream jug is 12.00 cms high and the sugar basin is 11.20 cms high.
