A pair of Art Deco George V Scottish Sterling silver butter dishes which are rectangular in shape with plain bodies. stylish stepped bases and simple side handles. The cut glass dishes. which are particularly appealing and an important feature of these butter dishes. fit neatly inside the silver bases. The silver butter knives. which are 11.7 cms in length. were made by Adie brothers and are dated for Birmingham 1935. which is the same date as the dishes. The whole set fits neatly in the original box.
